The Operations Directorate is responsible for identifying and carrying out projects. Following the project cycle, it oversees and organises all of the project preparation and execution teams under the responsibility of the mission leaders. It is in direct contact with donors and clients, which means it naturally takes part in prospection and promotion of FEI’s services to potential clients, as well as performing all aspects of the development and marketing function. The Directorate calls on the "Resources and Services" section, which is responsible for human resources, keeping the consultant database up to date, accounting and financial management, as well as all matters relating to support functions:
The 50-strong head office staff have solid international project engineering and management experience. FEI has highly qualified personnel and can quickly deploy the necessary resources for carrying out complex operations.
